QUARRY The Marble Group extracts 150,000 metric tons of block from its quarries. Most of these blocks are consumed by its factory; however, some blocks are sold to selected customers around the world. Some stone specifications are outlined below.
METHODOLOGY
Diamond wire cutting method is used in the quarries and the most modern production technologies are employed. In the factory, tiles are manufactured in standard sizes and cut-to-size per specification. Slabs are manufactured in 3/4 inch, 1 1/4 inches, and cut-to-size thicknesses for each project.
STOCK
The Marble Group stocks tiles and slabs from their own quarries and stones from all over the world, including the most exclusive stones from Turkey. You can find slabs and tiles of marble, limestone, travertine, granite and tumbled stones in Ozer International’s 32,000 SF warehouse in northern Newark, New Jersey.
FINISHES & FABRICATION
Tiles, slabs and cut-to-size order can be manufactured in polished, honed, brushed, sand blasted, and bush hammered finishes.
SPECIALTIES Our Antique Stone Collection includes center pieces, mosaics, moldings, tumbled and honed in marble, travertine and limestone.
